A Crowd of Handles and Rims

Many empty wicker baskets overlap in a dense display of handles, rims, and warm brown weave.
Many empty wicker baskets overlap in a dense display of handles, rims, and warm brown weave.

The frame is packed edge to edge with baskets, leaving almost no neutral background. Rounded handles loop through one another, while oval and rectangular rims create nested outlines at several depths. The repeated warm brown palette makes small construction differences more noticeable: some walls use tight horizontal bands, others show broader gaps or darker vertical supports. Highlights trace the upper curves, separating individual forms within the dense arrangement. Because the baskets overlap, no single object dominates. Instead, the image becomes a field of repeating arcs, grids, and openings, showing how variation emerges even when material and purpose appear closely related.
